そろそろ改装したいと画像をいじり始め、Sandboxの最新版がないか確認しにいったところ、こんなニュースが。

In the past year, my involvement with the WordPress community has almost completely dropped off due to time constraints and, frankly, interests in other activities. So with some reservation, I would like to announce the sale of my two WordPress-related domains, plaintxt.org and sndbx.org.

ということで、Sandbox総本山のドメインが売りに出されるようです。
非常に有り難いテーマなので、開発が続いてくれると有り難いのですが、WordPressのデフォルトテーマになるという話は立ち消えになってしまうのでしょうか。
しかし、勿論ボランティアで行われてこられたことですもんね……。
